Al Jazeera · world

The European Union has condemned escalating Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians and Western diplomats in the occupied West Bank during the olive harvest season. These attacks have surpassed previous years' totals, with critics arguing that condemnations alone are insufficient to deter the violence. Belgium's foreign minister reported that diplomats, including their own consul general, were assaulted. France and the US have also called on Israel to ensure safety and crack down on the perpetrators, as investigations into the incidents are underway.
