Haryana Govt to Challenge Private Power Licence for Gurugram, Nuh

The Haryana government will challenge the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission's decision to grant a private entity a distribution licence for Gurugram and Nuh. Energy minister Anil Vij announced that the state will file an appeal with a stay petition before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity within five to six days. This move comes amid a strike call by state power employees protesting the licensing decision. Vij stated the government supports the employees and is prepared to pursue the legal battle up to the Supreme Court if necessary.

हरियाणा सरकार गुरुग्राम और नूंह के लिए एक निजी संस्था को वितरण लाइसेंस देने के हरियाणा विद्युत नियामक आयोग के फैसले को चुनौती देगी। ऊर्जा मंत्री अनिल विज ने घोषणा की कि राज्य पांच से छह दिनों के भीतर विद्युत अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण के समक्ष एक स्थगन याचिका के साथ अपील दायर करेगा। यह कदम राज्य के बिजली कर्मचारियों द्वारा लाइसेंसिंग निर्णय के विरोध में हड़ताल के आह्वान के बीच आया है। विज ने कहा कि सरकार कर्मचारियों का समर्थन करती है और यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो उच्चतम न्यायालय तक कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ने के लिए तैयार है।
