An Ohio man has pleaded guilty to defrauding five investors out of over $3 million through a fake investment scheme involving "rolling code ticket packages." John E. Brown II, 45, convinced victims in Ohio and Florida that they could profit from bundled sports and theme-park tickets. Prosecutors stated that Brown used the invested funds, approximately $1.375 million, for gambling at casinos. He faces 17 counts of wire fraud and two counts of engaging in monetary transactions in criminal proceeds. The scheme operated from May 2020 to May 2024.
