This directive comes in response to the India Meteorological Department's forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next two days. Officials are tasked with monitoring vulnerable areas, ensuring relief and rescue preparedness, and keeping emergency operation centers active. Weather warnings are to be disseminated immediately to local levels, with specific alerts issued for multiple districts including Dehradun, Nainital, and Haridwar.
