Ganesh Idol Topples In Maharashtra Rain, Devotees Trapped

A Ganesh idol toppled during heavy rain in Palghar, Maharashtra, trapping several devotees who were trying to protect it. The incident occurred on Saturday evening in Nalasopara West as members of a Ganeshotsav mandal transported the idol. Local residents and fellow devotees quickly rescued those trapped, and fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. In a separate incident in Thane's Bhayander area, another idol was damaged during its procession, with one young man sustaining injuries.
