Delhi HC on 'Mirzapur' song use

The Delhi High Court has deemed the use of a song honouring Maharana Pratap as background music for a fight scene in 'Mirzapur: The Movie' as "not in good taste." The court urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to decide within a week on the producer's proposal to modify the scene. The producer's counsel stated the song only embellishes the climax and has no connection to historical figures or crime.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने 'मिर्ज़ापुर: द मूवी' में महाराणा प्रताप के सम्मान में बने गाने को लड़ाई वाले सीन में बैकग्राउंड म्यूजिक के तौर पर इस्तेमाल करने को "ठीक नहीं" बताया है। कोर्ट ने CBFC से कहा है कि प्रोड्यूसर के सीन बदलने के प्रस्ताव पर एक हफ्ते में फैसला लें। प्रोड्यूसर के वकील ने कहा कि गाना सिर्फ क्लाइमेक्स को बेहतर बनाता है, इसका किसी ऐतिहासिक व्यक्ति या अपराध से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है।
