Punjab Govt Hands Over Jhota Murder Probe to CBI Ahead of Amit Shah's Visit

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that the state government will transfer the investigation into the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh, alias Jhota, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This decision aligns with the family's primary demand and comes just before Union Home Minister Amit Shah's scheduled visit to Punjab. Jhota was shot dead on October 13 in Mansa while raising his voice against illegal drug sales.
