Tournament host Tiger Woods has not been included in the initial 20-man field for the Hero World Challenge in Albany, Bahamas. The 15-time major champion has not competed in an official event since the 2024 British Open due to injuries and legal issues. World number one Scottie Scheffler and defending champion Hideki Matsuyama are among the 17 players committed so far. Woods could still be added to the field through one of the three exemption spots.
