Hurricane Nolo is moving away from Hawaii but still poses a threat of heavy rain, flash floods, and strong winds. The storm's maximum sustained winds have risen to 115mph, and outer bands could cause life-threatening flooding and mudslides. Parts of the Big Island may receive up to 20 inches of rain. Residents are still recovering from Hurricane Lala, which caused significant damage to homes. Emergency declarations and National Guard activation are in place to manage the ongoing situation.
