Government College Functions As Wedding Venue, Disrupting Student Classes

Pataudi Govt College in Gurgaon faces significant disruptions as its premises are used for public functions like weddings and engagements. Classes are often cut short by noon or 1 pm due to noise and guest gatherings, forcing students to study upstairs while celebrations occur below. The college, established in 2022, operates from a community centre with limited classrooms and lacks basic amenities like a cafeteria or common room. Despite infrastructure challenges and teacher shortages, the college provides higher education opportunities locally, with a permanent campus proposed.

गुरुग्राम के पटौदी गवर्नमेंट कॉलेज में काफी दिक्कतें आ रही हैं। कॉलेज की बिल्डिंग में शादियों और सगाई जैसे पब्लिक फंक्शन हो रहे हैं। शोर-शराबे और मेहमानों की भीड़ की वजह से अक्सर दोपहर 12 या 1 बजे तक क्लासें बंद करनी पड़ती हैं। ऐसे में छात्रों को नीचे फंक्शन चलते रहने के बावजूद ऊपर की मंजिलों पर पढ़ाई करनी पड़ती है। यह कॉलेज 2022 में शुरू हुआ था और अभी एक कम्युनिटी सेंटर से चल रहा है। यहां क्लासरूम कम हैं और कैंटीन या कॉमन रूम जैसी बेसिक सुविधाएं भी नहीं हैं। इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की कमी और टीचरों की कमी के बावजूद, कॉलेज स्थानीय स्तर पर हायर एजुकेशन के मौके दे रहा है।
