Mumbai, Thane, Bhiwandi Residents Advised to Boil Drinking Water for 7 Days

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued an advisory for residents in parts of Mumbai, Thane, and Bhiwandi to boil and strain their drinking water for the next seven days. This precautionary measure comes ahead of the recommissioning of a repaired compartment of the Yewai Master Balancing Reservoir at the Pise-Panjrapur complex, which may affect water quality. The advisory covers several areas in Mumbai City, including A, B, E, F-South, and F-North wards, as well as eastern suburbs like Mulund, Bhandup, Nahur, Kanjurmarg, Vikhroli, and Kurla.
