Pragati Maidan police in Kolkata have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a woman at a nightclub. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at a prominent five-star hotel on the EM Bypass. The 20-year-old complainant reported being wrongfully restrained, physically assaulted, and having her modesty outraged by the accused and his associates. Police registered an FIR based on the complaint and apprehended the suspect from his residence. The hotel stated the nightclub is a third-party managed venue.
