Andhra Pradesh police are investigating 41 election-related incidents reported across 20 districts during the recent urban local body elections. Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta stated that polling concluded peacefully overall, with only a few minor disturbances. District police have been instructed to verify all complaints, identify responsible individuals, and take appropriate legal action. Extensive security measures, including drones and body cameras, were deployed to ensure fair polling and prevent malpractices. The DGP emphasized strict action against anyone disrupting order and ensured secure ballot box transportation.

आंध्र प्रदेश पुलिस हाल ही में हुए शहरी स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों के दौरान 20 जिलों में दर्ज की गई 41 चुनाव संबंधी घटनाओं की जांच कर रही है। पुलिस महानिदेशक हरीश कुमार गुप्ता ने कहा कि मतदान कुल मिलाकर शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें कुछ मामूली गड़बड़ियां ही हुईं। जिला पुलिस को सभी शिकायतों की जांच करने, जिम्मेदार लोगों की पहचान करने और उचित कानूनी कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। निष्पक्ष मतदान सुनिश्चित करने और कदाचार को रोकने के लिए ड्रोन और बॉडी कैमरे सहित व्यापक सुरक्षा उपाय तैनात किए गए थे। डीजीपी ने व्यवस्था बाधित करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई पर जोर दिया और मतपेटियों की सुरक्षित ढुलाई सुनिश्चित की।
