The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has blacklisted Bharat Udyog Ltd for one year due to alleged negligence and poor-quality pothole filling during the monsoon. Despite repeated instructions, the contractor failed to maintain required standards, particularly before the Ganesh festival when road conditions are crucial. The civic body has withdrawn the contractor's road repair work. This action is intended to improve accountability and send a message to other contractors about the importance of timely and quality civic work.
