कानपुर के करोड़पति फार्मा व्यापारी विनीत मिनोचा के बेटे सुब्रत मिनोचा, जिन्हें पिता की हत्या की साजिश रचने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था, 19 दिन बाद भी जेल में हैं। वहीं उनकी पत्नी शालू 21 दिन बाद जमानत पर रिहा हो गई हैं। पुलिस जांच के मुताबिक, सुब्रत ने अपनी संलिप्तता कबूल कर ली है। ऐसे में सवाल उठता है कि विनीत मिनोचा की संपत्ति का वारिस कौन होगा, जिसकी सालाना टर्नओवर ₹60-70 करोड़ बताई जा रही है। कानूनी जानकारों का कहना है कि अगर सुब्रत दोषी साबित होते हैं, तो हिंदू उत्तराधिकार अधिनियम के तहत वे संपत्ति के वारिस नहीं बन पाएंगे।
