Sacked Guard Drowns Girl, Demands Rs 20 Lakh Ransom

Police have arrested Vikram, a former security guard, for the kidnapping and murder of a five-year-old girl in Hyderabad. Vikram allegedly drowned the child in a water sump after tying her hands and legs with bricks. He then demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh from the girl's family. The incident occurred after he was fired from his job for misconduct. CCTV footage and the guard's statement helped police locate the girl's body in the community's cellar.

हैदराबाद में पुलिस ने विक्रम नाम के एक पूर्व सुरक्षा गार्ड को पांच साल की बच्ची के अपहरण और हत्या के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। विक्रम ने कथित तौर पर बच्ची के हाथ-पैर ईंटों से बांधकर उसे पानी की टंकी में डुबो दिया। इसके बाद उसने बच्ची के परिवार से 20 लाख रुपये की फिरौती मांगी। यह घटना तब हुई जब उसे दुर्व्यवहार के कारण उसकी नौकरी से निकाल दिया गया था। सीसीटीवी फुटेज और गार्ड के बयान ने पुलिस को समुदाय के तहखाने में बच्ची का शव खोजने में मदद की।
