Doctor Remanded For Assaulting Woman Doctor, Attacking Cop in Kollam

A 29-year-old doctor has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days in Kollam for allegedly assaulting a woman doctor in a hotel room and attacking a police officer. The accused, Ajas Khan, also faces charges for possessing ganja. The woman doctor, Aleena Margaret Zacharia, was also arrested for ganja possession and later released on bail. Police are awaiting a medical report to determine if Khan was under the influence of narcotics. The incident began with a verbal altercation between the two friends.
