No Incriminating Items Found in House Search

Purba Medinipur police informed the Calcutta High Court on Tuesday that a house search in Kolaghat yielded no incriminating material. This was in connection with a suo motu FIR lodged during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Suvendu Adhikari, then Leader of Opposition, had challenged the FIR. The police report indicated a "miscommunication" and confirmed no evidence was found. Following this report, Adhikari's lawyer stated they would not press the petition further, leading the High Court to dismiss the case as not pressed.
