A five-year-old girl, Aurelia, went missing while cycling in a gated community in Kowkoor and was later found dead in a water tank. Her family had received a ransom demand of ₹20 lakh from an unknown caller. Police suspect a former security guard, Vikram, who is now absconding, after his phone's last known location and CCTV footage from the community raised suspicion. Investigators believe the accused may have strangled the child out of fear of being caught.
