Goa CM Accuses Congress Of Spreading Misinformation

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant accused the Congress of spreading misinformation regarding the deletion of minority voters from electoral rolls. He stated that individuals with dual citizenship and Portuguese passports should not have approached the Election Commission if their names were deleted during the special intensive revision. Sawant asserted that genuine voters whose names were removed have had them reinstated after following due process. He further alleged that the Congress attempts to create anarchy by attacking constitutional bodies and spreading false narratives when they face electoral defeat.

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने कांग्रेस पर मतदाता सूची से अल्पसंख्यक मतदाताओं को हटाने के संबंध में गलत सूचना फैलाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि दोहरी नागरिकता और पुर्तगाली पासपोर्ट वाले लोगों को यदि विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण के दौरान उनके नाम हटा दिए गए थे तो उन्हें चुनाव आयोग से संपर्क नहीं करना चाहिए था। सावंत ने दावा किया कि वास्तविक मतदाताओं जिनके नाम हटा दिए गए थे, उन्हें उचित प्रक्रिया का पालन करने के बाद फिर से बहाल कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने आगे आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस चुनावी हार का सामना करने पर संवैधानिक निकायों पर हमला करके और झूठी कहानियां फैलाकर अराजकता पैदा करने की कोशिश करती है।
