MP STF Offers Rs 20,000 Bounty on 29 in Passport Scandal

The Madhya Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has announced a Rs 20,000 bounty on 29 individuals wanted in a passport scandal. Five teams are conducting a nationwide hunt, and seven arrests have been made so far. The investigation focuses on approximately 70 Indian passports allegedly obtained by suspected Bangladeshi nationals. Investigators are examining forged documents and false addresses used to secure passports issued between 2021 and 2023 from Gwalior, Bhopal, and Jabalpur. Some passports under scrutiny were reportedly used for travel to Thailand, China, and Bhutan.

मध्य प्रदेश स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स (STF) ने पासपोर्ट घोटाले में वांछित 29 लोगों पर 20,000 रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया है। सात गिरफ्तारियां हो चुकी हैं और पांच टीमें देश भर में तलाश कर रही हैं। जांच में कथित तौर पर संदिग्ध बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों द्वारा प्राप्त लगभग 70 भारतीय पासपोर्ट पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है। जांचकर्ता 2021 और 2023 के बीच ग्वालियर, भोपाल और जबलपुर से पासपोर्ट हासिल करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किए गए जाली दस्तावेजों और झूठे पतों की जांच कर रहे हैं। जांच के दायरे में आए कुछ पासपोर्ट का इस्तेमाल कथित तौर पर थाईलैंड, चीन और भूटान की यात्रा के लिए किया गया था।
