CPI Demands Deputy Leader of Opposition Post

The Communist Party of India (CPI) remains firm on its demand for the Deputy Leader of the Opposition post in the Keralam Legislative Assembly. State secretary Binoy Viswam stated that initial discussions with the CPI(M) have concluded, with further talks planned to resolve differences. Viswam also accused the Election Commission of undermining democratic rights by removing approximately 13 crore people from voter lists, alleging targeted exclusion of marginalized communities.

केरल विधानसभा में विपक्ष के उपनेता का पद CPI की मांग पर कायम है। बिनॉय विश्वम ने कहा कि CPI(M) के साथ शुरुआती बातचीत खत्म हो गई है, और मतभेदों को दूर करने के लिए आगे भी बात होगी। उन्होंने चुनाव आयोग पर भी आरोप लगाया कि लगभग 13 करोड़ लोगों को वोटर लिस्ट से हटाकर लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों को कमजोर किया जा रहा है, खासकर वंचित समुदायों को निशाना बनाया जा रहा है।
