AAP, GFP form alliance for Goa polls

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Goa Forward Party (GFP) have announced a pre-poll alliance named 'Goa First' for the 2027 assembly elections in Goa. AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal stated that this alliance will offer a non-BJP, non-Congress alternative and aims to form the next government. Both parties aim to prioritize Goa's interests, with AAP currently holding two MLAs and GFP one in the 40-seat assembly.

आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) और गोवा फॉरवर्ड पार्टी (GFP) ने 2027 के गोवा विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए 'गोवा फर्स्ट' नाम से गठबंधन का ऐलान किया है। AAP के संयोजक Arvind Kejriwal ने कहा कि यह गठबंधन BJP और कांग्रेस के अलावा एक तीसरा विकल्प देगा और अगली सरकार बनाने का लक्ष्य रखेगा। दोनों पार्टियां गोवा के हितों को प्राथमिकता देंगी। 40 सीटों वाली विधानसभा में AAP के 2 और GFP का 1 MLA है।
