AP Shipbuilding Plans Get Boost From Mazagon Dock

Andhra Pradesh's shipbuilding ambitions have received a significant boost through collaborations with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. and Goa Shipyard Ltd. Mazagon Dock will invest ₹15,000 crore in a mega shipbuilding cluster at Dugarajapatnam, with project reports expected by January 2027. Additionally, a 400-acre facility at Machilipatnam, backed by an ₹8,000 crore investment from Goa Shipyard, has been cleared. Kakinada's port area is also being promoted for shipbuilding.

आंध्र प्रदेश की जहाज निर्माण की महत्वाकांक्षाओं को Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. और Goa Shipyard Ltd. के साथ मिलकर बड़ी राहत मिली है। Mazagon Dock, Dugarajapatnam में एक बड़े शिपबिल्डिंग क्लस्टर के लिए ₹15,000 करोड़ का निवेश करेगा, जिसकी रिपोर्ट जनवरी 2027 तक आ जाएंगी। वहीं, Machilipatnam में Goa Shipyard के ₹8,000 करोड़ के निवेश से 400 एकड़ की सुविधा को मंजूरी मिल गई है। Kakinada के बंदरगाह क्षेत्र को भी जहाज निर्माण के लिए बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है।
