Eight road workers were tragically killed in Punjab's Sangrur district after being run over by a car. A witness at the scene near Chotian village in the Lehragaga area reported that the victims lay suffering on the roadside for a prolonged period. The witness stated that authorities insisted on completing "formalities" before arriving at the location. These individuals reportedly died waiting for medical assistance, with many succumbing to their injuries due to excessive bleeding.
