He highlighted the Border Roads Organisation's (BRO) evolution into a strategic infrastructure organisation, citing projects like the Atal Tunnel, Umling La Pass road, and Sela Tunnel. This emphasis underscores the critical role of robust connectivity in enhancing national security and military readiness, especially in border regions.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि आजकल की लड़ाई में सड़कें हथियारों जितनी ही ज़रूरी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बीआरओ (BRO) अब सिर्फ़ सड़क बनाने वाली संस्था नहीं, बल्कि एक अहम इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर ऑर्गनाइजेशन बन गई है। अटल टनल, उम्लिंग ला पास रोड और सेला टनल जैसे प्रोजेक्ट्स इसके सबूत हैं। इससे देश की सुरक्षा और सेना की तैयारी, खासकर सीमाई इलाकों में, और मज़बूत होगी।
