Doctor Delivers Mother, Then Her Son 25 Years

In 1995, Dr. Bryan Cox delivered baby Lauren Cortez at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Twenty-five years later, on July 26, 2020, Cox delivered Cortez's son, Logan James, at the same hospital. The doctor recreated a photograph from 1995 with Cortez and her newborn son. Cox, who has delivered over 5,000 babies in his 33-year career, also sang "Happy Birthday" to Logan, a tradition he started with Cortez.
