Bulgaria Blames Russia For Drone Strikes That Sank Two Ships

Times of India · world

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Rumen Radev stated that Russia is likely responsible for drone attacks on four commercial ships in the Black Sea, which resulted in two vessels sinking. While no definitive proof exists, Radev noted the attacks benefited Russia, especially as one targeted ship was Ukrainian-owned. Rescue efforts are ongoing for 11 missing crew members after Tuesday's strikes, with five sailors already rescued. Bulgaria has requested NATO support for enhanced surveillance and is coordinating with Romania and Turkey to protect shipping in the region.
