Fourteen-year-old Harley Fatahillah Yodhaloka Sunoto has been recognized as an Eco-Hero for his significant contributions to mangrove restoration in Indonesia. He founded 'Mangrove Warrior,' an initiative focused on restoring coastal ecosystems and raising environmental awareness among youth. Harley has successfully cultivated and planted over 31,000 mangrove seedlings in vulnerable coastal areas, scientifically selecting species for maximum protection and carbon absorption. His efforts also involve partnering with local women to develop sustainable products, directly linking environmental conservation with economic empowerment for fishing communities.
