Ex-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Afridi Faces Arrest Warrant in 2023 Radio Pakistan Attack Case

An anti-terrorism court in Peshawar has issued arrest warrants for former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Sohail Afridi and four other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders. The warrants are related to the May 2023 attack, vandalism, and arson at the Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar. The incident occurred during protests following the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan. A supplementary charge sheet named Afridi and his colleagues as accused, with forensic findings used for identification. The court is currently trying other individuals involved in the case.
