Bidar Police Bust Illegal Arms Network, Seize 10 Pistols

Bidar police have successfully dismantled an illegal arms network, seizing a total of 10 country-made pistols, 36 live rounds, and five swords. The operation began on July 15, 2026, after a tip-off about individuals selling firearms from a two-wheeler. Investigations led to the arrest of alleged dealers and buyers, including a suspected kingpin from Maharashtra. Three local youths were also apprehended for purchasing pistols to create social media reels. The recovered weapons and ammunition were seized on Saturday.

बीदर पुलिस ने 10 देशी पिस्तौलें, 36 जिंदा कारतूस और पांच तलवारें जब्त कर एक अवैध हथियारों के नेटवर्क को सफलतापूर्वक खत्म कर दिया है। यह ऑपरेशन 15 जुलाई, 2026 को दोपहिया वाहन से हथियार बेचने वाले लोगों के बारे में मिली गुप्त सूचना के बाद शुरू हुआ। जांच में महाराष्ट्र के एक संदिग्ध सरगना सहित कथित डीलरों और खरीदारों की गिरफ्तारी हुई। तीन स्थानीय युवकों को सोशल मीडिया रील बनाने के लिए पिस्तौल खरीदने के आरोप में भी पकड़ा गया। बरामद हथियार और गोला-बारूद शनिवार को जब्त किए गए।
