Authorities in Papua New Guinea have arrested four Chinese nationals after discovering a suspected cannonball inside a shipping container. The object was found amongst construction materials in Port Moresby. While Australian media, citing police sources, reported it as a genuine 130mm Type 59 artillery projectile containing explosives and a fuse, China's embassy has refuted these claims. They assert the item is a wine bottle shaped like a cannonball and that illegal arms smuggling from China is highly improbable due to strict laws.
