NIA to Visit UAE to Record Statement of Flydubai Pilot

NIA has taken over the probe into the Flydubai aircraft incident. The agency plans to seek government permission to travel to the UAE to record the statement of Indian pilot Captain Smit Manchharia, who is undergoing treatment in a hospital there. NIA also intends to coordinate with UAE authorities and may seek permission to question the arrested co-pilot, Hamaad Al-Hammami. The case was registered last week under the Anti-Hijacking Act and UAPA, citing the incident's severity and national/international implications.

NIA ने Flydubai विमान घटना की जांच अपने हाथ में ले ली है। एजेंसी वहां अस्पताल में इलाज करा रहे भारतीय पायलट कैप्टन स्मित मनचंदा का बयान दर्ज करने के लिए UAE की यात्रा की सरकारी अनुमति लेने की योजना बना रही है। NIA UAE अधिकारियों के साथ समन्वय करने का भी इरादा रखती है और गिरफ्तार सह-पायलट, हमाद अल-हम्मामी से पूछताछ की अनुमति मांग सकती है। घटना की गंभीरता और राष्ट्रीय/अंतर्राष्ट्रीय निहितार्थों को देखते हुए, पिछले हफ्ते एंटी-हाइजैकिंग एक्ट और UAPA के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया था।
