पंजाब सरकार ने केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान की फ्रांस यात्रा के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी न देने के बाद पंजाब-हरियाणा हाई कोर्ट का रुख किया है। राज्य सरकार का आरोप है कि सभी औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने के बावजूद, बिना किसी कारण के मंजूरी रोक दी गई, और विदेश मंत्रालय के पोर्टल पर आवेदन को बस 'मंजूर नहीं' (denied) के रूप में चिह्नित किया गया। यह प्रतिनिधिमंडल पंजाब के कृषि-खाद्य उत्पादों के लिए व्यापार के अवसर तलाशने हेतु SIAL Paris-2026 अंतरराष्ट्रीय खाद्य व्यापार मेले-21 में भाग लेने वाला था। हाई कोर्ट ने केंद्रीय सरकार को सुबह जवाब दाखिल करने का आदेश दिया है।
