Hyderabad police and Excise officials conducted raids across the city on Gandhi Jayanti, seizing over 70 litres of liquor due to illegal sales. Mangalhat police confiscated 50.01 litres and registered five cases, apprehending five individuals for stocking and selling alcohol without licenses. In a separate operation, an Excise enforcement team seized 17.22 litres of Indian-made liquor and 4.55 litres of beer within Rajendranagar limits. The enforcement team also intercepted 17 bottles of Defence liquor in Secunderabad, with further investigations ongoing.
