SUCI(C) Protests in Dharwad for Pending Social Security Pensions

Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) activists protested in Dharwad, demanding the release of social security pensions unpaid for seven months. The party highlighted that despite a recent increase in the income eligibility limit, beneficiaries have not received payments. Protesters cited rising costs and drought conditions, calling the pension suspension inhumane. They claimed 18,06,032 pensions are suspended across Karnataka, causing hardship for the elderly, widows, and disabled. SUCI(C) also called for increased monthly assistance and payment of arrears.

धारवाड़ में एसयूसीआई(सी) का प्रदर्शन लंबित सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन की मांग

सोशलिस्ट यूनिटी सेंटर ऑफ इंडिया (कम्युनिस्ट) के कार्यकर्ताओं ने धारवाड़ में प्रदर्शन किया और सात महीने से लंबित सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन जारी करने की मांग की। पार्टी ने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि हाल ही में आय पात्रता सीमा में वृद्धि के बावजूद, लाभार्थियों को भुगतान नहीं मिला है। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने बढ़ती लागत और सूखे की स्थिति का हवाला देते हुए पेंशन निलंबित करने को अमानवीय बताया। उन्होंने दावा किया कि कर्नाटक में 18,06,032 पेंशन निलंबित हैं, जिससे बुजुर्गों, विधवाओं और विकलांगों को परेशानी हो रही है। एसयूसीआई(सी) ने मासिक सहायता बढ़ाने और बकाया राशि का भुगतान करने की भी मांग की।
