Volkswagen's Taigun SUV has achieved a significant milestone, selling over 1 lakh units in the Indian market since its launch in September 2021. Data from SIAM indicates that by the end of September 2026, 99,095 units had been sold domestically. The company also exported 52,751 units, bringing the total to 1,51,846 units. Despite facing sales fluctuations and competition, Volkswagen recently launched a facelifted version with enhanced features and an automatic gearbox. The SUV is built on the MQB A0 IN platform and is priced from ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
