Sister's Period Struggles Inspire Startup, Now Used By 6 Lakh Women

A reusable period panty, GoPadFree, was developed after an engineer learned his sister lacked hygienic facilities and long-lasting products at school. The startup HealthFab, founded by three friends, created the panty to absorb up to 30 ml and last 12 hours, replacing disposable pads. After testing prototypes, the product was launched in January 2020. It has since been used by over six lakh women, with many reporting fewer rashes and no leaks, calling the product life-changing.

एक दोबारा इस्तेमाल होने वाली पीरियड पैंटी, GoPadFree, तब विकसित की गई जब एक इंजीनियर को पता चला कि उसकी बहन को स्कूल में साफ-सफाई की सुविधाएँ और लंबे समय तक चलने वाले उत्पाद नहीं मिल पा रहे थे। तीन दोस्तों द्वारा स्थापित स्टार्टअप HealthFab ने इस पैंटी को बनाया है जो 30 ml तक सोख सकती है और 12 घंटे तक चलती है, जिससे डिस्पोजेबल पैड की जगह ली जा सके। प्रोटोटाइप का परीक्षण करने के बाद, उत्पाद जनवरी 2020 में लॉन्च किया गया था।
