Singh alleged that Kumar feigns illness, particularly when it's time to disburse funds to booth workers. He also refuted claims that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Kumar in the hospital, stating no one went. Singh asserted that Nitish Kumar is a mentor to all and not involved in the MLC election, emphasizing that the public will decide the winner.

जद(यू) के विधायक अनंत सिंह ने एनडीए समर्थित जद(यू) उम्मीदवार नीरज कुमार के अस्वस्थ होने की खबरों को 'नाटक' और 'बहाना' बताकर खारिज कर दिया है। सिंह ने आरोप लगाया कि कुमार खास तौर पर बूथ कार्यकर्ताओं को पैसे बांटने के समय बीमारी का नाटक करते हैं। उन्होंने इस दावे का भी खंडन किया कि बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार अस्पताल में कुमार से मिलने गए थे, और कहा कि कोई भी उनसे मिलने नहीं गया। सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा कि नीतीश कुमार सभी के गुरु हैं और एमएलसी चुनाव में शामिल नहीं हैं, और जनता विजेता का फैसला करेगी।
