WhatsApp has inadvertently exposed hidden instructions for its AI chatbot on approximately 80 help and FAQ pages. These instructions, found in the underlying code, included sections titled 'WHAT NOT TO SAY' and explicit directives against offering legal advice. The exposed text also covered responses related to account deletion, legal actions, and privacy regulations. Meta stated a bug caused the exposure, clarifying the instructions were for internal chatbot guidance and not public communication. The company has since removed the hidden text after being alerted.
