BRS Leader Alleges Govt. Conspiring to Damage Mallannasagar Reservoir With Blasts

Former minister T. Harish Rao has accused the government of conspiring to damage the Mallannasagar reservoir bund through heavy blasting just 150 metres away. He alleged that this illegal blasting, occurring at night for pipeline and pump-house construction, violates irrigation guidelines and is causing cracks in nearby village houses. Rao claimed authorities were unaware of any permissions, suggesting the Revanth Reddy government is targeting the Kaleshwaram Project. The blasting has reportedly been ongoing for two to three months without necessary approvals from irrigation, revenue, and police departments.

पूर्व मंत्री टी. हरीश राव ने सरकार पर आरोप लगाया है कि वह मलन्नासागर जलाशय के तटबंध को सिर्फ 150 मीटर की दूरी से भारी ब्लास्टिंग के जरिए नुकसान पहुंचाने की साजिश रच रही है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि रात में पाइपलाइन और पंप-हाउस निर्माण के लिए हो रही यह अवैध ब्लास्टिंग सिंचाई दिशानिर्देशों का उल्लंघन करती है और आसपास के गांवों के घरों में दरारें पैदा कर रही है। राव ने दावा किया कि अधिकारियों को किसी भी अनुमति की जानकारी नहीं है, जिससे पता चलता है कि रेवंत रेड्डी सरकार कालेश्वरम प्रोजेक्ट को निशाना बना रही है।
