Whisky lovers in Telangana are facing higher prices for premium aged Scotch and single malts. The excise department has revised maximum retail prices, leading to hikes ranging from 7% to 20% on popular imported labels. A 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky saw its 700ml bottle price increase by Rs 2,100, while an 18-year-old single malt experienced a 20% rise.
