केरल हाई कोर्ट ने मुन्नार में लंबे समय से चले आ रहे भूमि विवादों को सुलझाने के लिए एक विशेष टास्क फोर्स बनाने का प्रस्ताव दिया है, जो कई रिपोर्टों के बावजूद दो दशकों से अनसुलझे हैं। एक बेंच ने सुझाव दिया कि टास्क फोर्स में राजस्व, पुलिस और अन्य सरकारी विभागों के अधिकारी, साथ ही कोर्ट द्वारा नियुक्त वकील शामिल हों। कोर्ट ने कहा कि पिछली रिपोर्टों में की गई सिफारिशों पर कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं हुई है। राज्य ने टास्क फोर्स बनाने की इच्छा जताई, जो सिफारिशों को लागू करने और अतिक्रमणों को हल करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी।
