E-rickshaw Catches Fire in Bihar's Jamui District; Two Schoolgirls Injured

Two Class 12 students sustained burn injuries when an e-rickshaw's battery exploded, igniting the vehicle on the Jamui-Sikandra main road in Bihar's Jamui district on Friday. One student, Neha Kumari, suffered severe burns across approximately 80% of her body and was transferred to Patna for advanced medical care. The incident occurred around 10 am as the students were returning from coaching classes. Local residents assisted the injured, and police are investigating the cause of the battery explosion and fire.

बिहार के जमुई जिले में जमुई-सिकंदरा मुख्य मार्ग पर शुक्रवार को एक ई-रिक्शा की बैटरी फटने से वाहन में आग लग गई, जिसमें दो 12वीं कक्षा की छात्राएं झुलस गईं। एक छात्रा, नेहा कुमारी, के शरीर का लगभग 80% हिस्सा गंभीर रूप से जल गया था और उसे बेहतर इलाज के लिए पटना रेफर किया गया है। यह घटना सुबह करीब 10 बजे हुई जब छात्राएं कोचिंग क्लास से लौट रही थीं। स्थानीय लोगों ने घायलों की मदद की और पुलिस बैटरी विस्फोट और आग के कारणों की जांच कर रही है।
