Putin Votes Remotely in Russian Duma Elections

Russian President Vladimir Putin cast his vote online in the elections for the 9th State Duma. Footage showed him voting from his office computer. Putin has increasingly preferred remote voting in recent years, including for presidential and Moscow City Duma elections in 2024. The State Duma elections, held from September 18-20, include residents from newly incorporated regions. Around 22,000 seats are being contested across various regional elections.
