AAP Alleges Vote Manipulation in UP Voter List Revision

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Uttar Pradesh election commission of manipulating voter lists, alleging 'vote chori' similar to past claims in Bengal and Delhi. Singh stated that 13 lakh names were added without public disclosure, while around 51,000 were deleted. He further claimed that 84 lakh applications were received for adding names and 4.30 lakh for deletions. Singh highlighted that 85,000 deletions occurred without stated reasons, and pointed to instances where Muslim voters constituted a high proportion of deletions.

आम आदमी पार्टी के सांसद संजय सिंह ने उत्तर प्रदेश चुनाव आयोग पर वोटर लिस्ट में हेरफेर करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह बंगाल और दिल्ली की तरह ही 'वोट चोरी' का मामला है। सिंह ने बताया कि बिना किसी सार्वजनिक सूचना के 13 लाख नाम जोड़े गए, जबकि करीब 51,000 नाम हटाए गए। उन्होंने यह भी दावा किया कि नाम जोड़ने के लिए 84 लाख आवेदन मिले और हटाने के लिए 4.30 लाख। सिंह ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि 85,000 नाम बिना कोई कारण बताए हटाए गए, और उन्होंने ऐसे मामलों की ओर इशारा किया जहां मुस्लिम मतदाताओं की संख्या हटाने वालों में ज़्यादा थी।
