Fifteen faculty members from Punjabi University have been recognized in Stanford University's 2026 list of the world's top 2% scientists. Thirteen faculty members were included in the single-year category for 2025 research, while nine were listed in the career-long category, with some appearing in both. The rankings are based on c-scores, calculated with and without self-citations, among the top 100,000 scientists globally.
