UN Rights Chief: Iran Executed 56+ Since March

संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार उच्चायुक्त वोल्कर तुर्क ने कहा है कि ईरान ने मार्च से अब तक कम से कम 56 लोगों को मौत की सज़ा दी है। उन्होंने असंतोष को दबाने के लिए फाँसी की सज़ाओं में संभावित वृद्धि को लेकर चेतावनी जारी की है। यह जनवरी में हुए विद्रोह के बाद हुआ है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र अधिकारी ने बिगड़ती मानवाधिकार स्थिति और विरोध प्रदर्शनों व विपक्ष पर सरकार की कार्रवाई को लेकर गंभीर चिंता जताई है।
