APCC vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji alleged that TDP leaders, with alleged police support, forcibly removed YSRCP polling agents to facilitate booth capturing and attacked voters. He questioned the effectiveness of extensive security arrangements, including paramilitary forces, in preventing such incidents. The APCC has demanded a thorough inquiry and stringent action against negligent police officials to ensure voters can exercise their franchise freely.

आंध्र प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी (APCC) ने पुलिवेंदुला, कडपा और अरनाडा पंचायत में स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों में हुई हिंसा और झड़पों की कड़ी निंदा की है। APCC के उपाध्यक्ष कोलानुकोंडा शिवाजी ने आरोप लगाया कि TDP नेताओं ने कथित पुलिस समर्थन से YSRCP के मतदान एजेंटों को जबरन हटा दिया ताकि बूथ कैप्चरिंग की जा सके और मतदाताओं पर हमला किया जा सके। उन्होंने ऐसे हादसों को रोकने में पैरामिलिट्री बलों सहित व्यापक सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की प्रभावशीलता पर सवाल उठाया। APCC ने लापरवाह पुलिस अधिकारियों के खिलाफ गहन जांच और कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है ताकि मतदाता स्वतंत्र रूप से अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर सकें।
