The Crime Branch has refuted claims of slow progress in its investigation into alleged irregularities at the Chander Kunj Army Towers Apartment Project in Kochi. The agency stated that the probe is progressing effectively, with evidence collection and expert agency consultations underway. Six Army Welfare Housing Organisation officials, along with project planners and builders, have been named as accused. The investigation includes scrutiny of financial transactions, quality control, and administrative decisions, following a case registered in August 2025.
